7th English Ivy Removal Event at Broadneck Park

Join us for a morning of spring clean up of our community park! Make a difference in your community as well as keeping our park greener and safe for all. We will meet at 9:45am at the playground parking lot and discuss logistics of the morning. We will have a variety of tasks that can be done around the park.
All levels of volunteers are welcome from novices to experienced to experts. Novices will be taught to identify and remove invasive vines.
Wear gardening gloves, long sleeved shirts, pants (shorts are discouraged) and sturdy shoes/ boots. Bring water, sunblock and bug/tick spray. Snipers, clippers, gloves, goggles and handsaws will be provided.
