Quiet Waters Park Invasive Removal Event – Recap!

This past Saturday (4/25/2026) Anne Arundel Weed Resistance was able to host an invasive plant species removal project at Quiet Waters Park. This project was done with the coordination of park rangers and staff from the park to select a location that would benefit from these efforts. With the help of our volunteers, we were able to remove roughly 2,800 sq. Ft of invasive plant species. The species that we were able to ID and remove were: Japanese Honeysuckle, Border Privet, and Multiflora Rose. Thank you to our volunteers who showed up and contributed to these efforts!
