Michael E. Busch Annapolis Library Workshop

On June 24th 10am- 2pm at the Michael E. Busch Annapolis Library, we will be hosting a hands-on workshop where our Volunteer Coordinator Loretta Jorden will teach new recruits on how to be a Weed Warrior. Volunteers who show will get instructions in species identification and ecology, control methods, tool use and safety, and outdoor safety skills.

Please watch the training videos found in the training section of the website BEFORE showing up at the workshop. Once you complete the videos, confirm you did through the video confirmation form that is also on the training tab. You can still attend the workshop without watching the videos, but if you want to become a card-carrying Weed Warrior, the video confirmation form must be filled out.

Anne Arundel Weed Resistance will provide gloves, goggles, snippers, lopers and handsaws. Please bring water and wear long sleeves, white socks and sturdy shoes.
